2020's Special Giving Tree:
Giving Hope and Joy to Those in Need

Since Covid-19 is preventing us from running our "normal" Giving Tree gift collection, this year our goal is to raise funds to provide gift cards to our community in addition to basic winter necessities. 

The easiest way to help is to donate gift cards (preferably Visa, American Express, or Walmart) in denominations of $25, $50, or $100, or to make a financial donation so we can purchase the cards.

We also will use all donations on Giving Tuesday toward our Giving Tree program.

• Buy items from our list below and drop them at St. Joseph's Monday through Friday 9-3/Saturday 9-1 OR email [email protected] for a pick-up:
      Fleece throw blankets (50"x60")
      Towel and washcloth sets
      Women's hats/gloves/scarves
      Women's socks
      Men's hats/gloves/scarves
      Pajamas - children's sizes 8 and up and adult sizes S-M-L-XL appropriate for teens

Donations of new and gently used toys are welcome for our toy distribution.

Prior to 12/14/20, new toys are being collected by Meghan Calichman and Church of the Little Flower. Please contact Meghan via email at [email protected] or via phone at: 201-874-4440. After 12/14/20, please deliver new toys directly to St. Joseph's.

Gently used toys and stuffed animals can be brought directly to St. Joseph's prior to 12/19.

Some guidelines...
We encourage toys and games that promote good values:  educational toys, games that teach peace, respect for the earth and all people.  We prefer baby dolls to Barbie dolls. Please,  NO war toys or games that glorify violence. We want to give our children positive messages about themselves, other people, and all of God's creation.
